It presents, in a clear and structured manner, our vision and mission, academic programmes, co-curricular activities, policies and procedures, and significant achievements. Message from the Headmistress Secondary Section

Siscut Lilium Inter Spinas (Lily Among Thorns) – our vision beautifully reflects the essence of Infant Jesus High School, Jogeshwari East. The students at Infant Jesus High School are nurtured to bloom with purity, grace, and strength, standing tall amidst the trials of life.

In the year 1967, Rev. Fr. Lazarus Sequeira, through patronage of Infant Jesus had the vision of having a secured and stable environment and so, the institution of Infant Jesus High School was built primarily on the values of compassion, humility and excellence. Rev. Fr. Joseph D’souza, fondly called Fr. Juze fulfilled the dreams of the poor people by giving a definite shape to the school and Rev. Fr. Richard Crasto left no stone unturned in putting up the magnificent school building. There onwards we believe that education is not just about imparting knowledge, but about shaping the heart, mind and spirit.

At Infant Jesus High School, every child is encouraged to discover their utmost potential. Our dedicated team of teachers works tirelessly to provide a balanced blend of academic excellence, moral grounding and co-curricular opportunities that prepare our students for life beyond the classroom.

We aim to create an environment where curiosity is encouraged, values are cherished, and talents are nurtured, enabling our students to grow as confident, responsible and compassionate individuals. Like a lily among thorns, we prepare our students to shine with integrity, courage and faith in a world that needs leaders of character.

As we move forward, we remain committed to fostering a school community rooted in love, respect and service. Our mission at IJHS is: “To nurture our students into becoming confident, responsible, and compassionate individuals, ready to face the challenges of the world with dignity and integrity.”
At IJHS , we believe that every child is unique and capable of becoming the best version of themselves. We strive to provide a joyful learning environment where children feel inspired, and empowered to pursue their talents along with their academic development. Along with imparting education, we also believe in cultivating strong values, life skills, and a sense of responsibility in our students, so that they grow to be sensitive global citizens who uphold respect and honesty in all that they do.

Together with the parents, who are the first teachers, we aim to instill in our children the strength of character, warmth of humanity, and the delight of lifelong learning. I invite you to join us in this journey of growth from innocence to intelligence for a better tomorrow.
